This blog is the course page for the class Geometric Group Theory, taught by MurphyKate Montee in Fall 2022 at Carleton College. Posts are contributed by students, and correspond (roughly) to course notes. Our primary text is Groups, Graphs, and Trees by John Meier.

Student hours are in CMC 325 at the following times:
– Mondays 3:30-4:30
– Tuesdays 4:30-6:00
– Wednesdays 2:30-3:30 (Note: Calculus students have priority on Wednesdays)
– Fridays 1:30-2:30
